Fees from September 2010

Application fees 

Main school deposit: one term's fee is payable on application to the main school. This deposit will offset against fees in the last term of year 6. Half of the deposit is returnable should your child leave the school before the end of year 6.

Fees quoted are per child per term

Kindergarten 

1 Morning per week £140

3 Mornings per week £420

Afternoon sessions (each) £140
Government-funded nursery vouchers for all 3 and 4 year olds are available for five 3 hour sessions per week.

Reception

Reception is part of the main school. The fees are £1,900 per term (including 3 school lunches per week). Nursery vouchers apply until the term they turn 5 yrs old at the Lewes New School.

Primary 

All fees (including lunches 3 days per week) per term £1,900
Extras: Yrs 3,4,5 & 6: Camp in the summer term - currently £135

 

   

Fees for two, three and four child families

First child full fees
Second child 15% deducted
Third child 20% deducted
Fourth child 25% deducted
No sibling discounts for children with nursery vouchers

Fees paid by banker's order monthly, spread over 12 months

If you would like to pay by bankers order, please ask the school office for the necessary forms and monthly amount payable.

Other charges

Individual private tuition, including music lessons and learning support as requested.
Extras will be charged retrospectively two weeks before the end of each term.
A full half term's notice is required, or fees in lieu, for cancellation of music, clubs etc.

Payment

School fees are invoiced termly in advance. All invoices are due for payment before or on the first day of term, except by prior arrangement with the school office.

Late payment

This will result in a surcharge to cover interest and administrative charges incurred as a result of late payment. This charge will amount to 15% APR charged pro rata on the total sum outstanding at the time (min charge £10).
