The Lewes New School has 3 films that illustrate different aspects of the school

Our main film "Nature & Nurture - Creating a community of learners" is 8 minutes long and is made by local film-maker Emily Lassalle. It features the school in action; classroom activity, playtime, lunch break and the teachers describing how the school works and what sets it apart from other primary schools. The film gives viewers a chance to get a flavour of the atmosphere and spirit of the school.

"Happy Birthday Lewes New School" is a 4 minute film and was made to celebrate the school's fifth birthday. Graduates of Lewes New School share their memories of the school, what they loved and what their wish for the school would be. Both charming and amusing, this film captures the fondness these ex-pupils had for their primary school education.

"Our Town, Lewes" is a 10 minute documentary researched, written and presented by the children from Class 4 in the summer of 2007. The children worked in small groups to research and film various aspects of the town that interested them. They were mentored by a parent from the film industry on film-making techniques and documentary story-telling.

"Secondary School" is a five minute film about life after Lewes New School for six former pupils. They share their feelings about the challenges and experiences of moving onto secondary school and how Lewes New School prepared them.
