How lovely it was to come into school on Tuesday and have a wander around the wonderful exhibition that years 3 and 4 put on. Some truly amazing work was on display.

I am also delighted to be able to share with the community that Anne Marie has asked to stay on and continue her work with us! I am sure you will all agree that this is great news for us all.

Trustees and Governors have been working together over the past few months to agree the structure for school for next year. Feedback on the unavoidable disruption and last minute changes last year has been taken seriously and both are committed to families knowing about classes for next year before half term.

I am delighted to be able to share that:

Julie will lead Nursery
Amanda will lead and support children in Reception & Year 1
Clare and Heather will lead and support children in Year 2 & 3
Anne Marie and a second teacher (working Part Time) will lead and support Year 4, 5 &6

This change to class structure has been agreed by teaching staff as the best way to support the needs of children in the school. Support from Teaching Assistants is still to be confirmed.

Rachel, our TA in Early Years will be leaving us in July as she has decided that she wishes to continue to develop other areas of her life. I am sure you will all join with me to wish her well. She has offered to continue to support school with supply teaching and or workshops for singing and dance – so watch this space!
