It is the role of the governing body to be a critical friend to the leadership of the school, by questioning we ensure that due process is observed at every level. As in many schools parent representatives form an important part of our governing body. Originally set up by a group of families, the school has a culture of involvement which instils in many a sense of responsibility for all aspects of the school’s running. In order to maintain the rigour – fundamental to our curriculum – in the management of the school, we strive to draw in expertise from outside.
